GLYNC FACTOR
Last Friday (July 7) at the Community Centre, for one night only the young people of Glyncoch took to the stage and put on a show for all the village's residents. They performed songs, dance routines and showcased their own pop video. The video was made following a 12 week project organized and funded by Glyncoch Communities First Partnership and Young Music Wales. These young people worked extremely hard to provide an excellent show. The whole village should be proud of them.

i do not approve of the way these people have stolen what the social club was going to do as they were starting to organise the "social factor".
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I welcome all comments.
It could of course be argued that the "social factor" wasn't exactly an original idea. Wasn't there something called the X factor on TV
I went and thought the night was fantastic. The children were very brave and Cefn Primary was very proud of it's pupils.
These people, as you so call them, are the children and grandchildren of Glyncoch residents and I actually think that you have a lot to learn in terms of approval if you can so easily criticise thier wonderful efforts. They weren't smashing windows or being anti-social, they were entertaining other members of the community and raising funds for charity. But then I don't approve of people who criticise behind the guise of anonimity.
I couldn't agree more with what has been said by both Sarah and Maisie. These children and young people have worked really hard over many weeks to do something that is both entertaining and to be seen as a credit to the whole community.
As I said I welcome all comments but please have the courage at least let everyone know who you are. I am Paul Simmonds the only reason my name shows as Glyncoch News is because that's the name of my column.
Well said jonesy
My niece took part in this event which, as she's only 6, I am pleased to say was held in a venue with no smoking and no alcohol. Would this have happened in the social club? It was a brilliant night! The kids made me proud to say I was from Glyncoch whilst the comment from anonymous made me ashamed.
this anonymous person who left that remark is gutless. And for their information, the social factor never even hit it off
